Cat has heart murmur... wat do?

Sugar has been vomiting since last night and we brought her in to the vet this morning. We paid $700 just for a night stay and xray but now the doctor told us she has a heart murmur and that she needs an ultrasound to see if it's the cause of the vomiting. Moreover, the technician for the ultrasound machine is not here till tomorrow and she might not live that long so we could take her to the emergency clinic. I don't know how much it'll cost for either and I also don't want to be a dick and compare prices with my cat's life at stake. I love her so very much however I have like $1000 left in savings. Wat do?

Any time your dog is acting "out of character", it's a good enough reason to take him to the vet. Not eating and having diarrhea is definitely a sign that he needs to be checked out. It may be something trivial, sure, but it could be serious - do you really want to take that risk?

I found a bulge in my dogs spine?

My dog is about 3 yrs old and is a border collie lab mix. The past few days Ive noticed a small part of his spine is protruding upwards. Ive had him since he was just a few months and I don't remember his spine feeling like that. He is a healthy weight so I don't think that would be the problem. Anyone have an incite on this issue.
