Writers: What's your Inciting Incident or Catalyst?

I'm new to writing and not good at identifying these. It's probably in the first chapter in the 5th page when she gets in a car accident with her dad. It gives her brain damage and her dad dies, allowing the doctors to perform surgery and plant the growth that allows them to control her mind.
